My focus lies in utilizing my expertise to represent clients engaged in contracting with the federal government, particularly within the defense industry, as well as assisting federal employees nationwide.
Bringing over 15 years of intimate experience from my tenure within the Department of Defense, I approach each case with a wealth of knowledge to navigate complex legal matters. My career within the federal government has uniquely positioned me with firsthand insights into successfully and expeditiously navigating complex federal systems.
My background includes advising and representing both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy on a diverse range of contract-related matters. I’ve worked at locations across the U.S., supporting forward-deployed teams overseas. From construction and information technology contracts to full-food service contracts, weapon system component contracts, and more, my expertise spans various contract types and industries.
Within the defense industrial base, I specialize in handling complex contracting issues, addressing supply chain challenges, sub-contractor matters, and overseeing contracts for the manufacture and repair of component parts crucial to supporting Naval weapons systems. Notably, I’ve successfully represented the federal government before critical bodies such as the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA). My experience extends to providing counsel on Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs), Claims, compliance audits, and internal investigations.
In the realm of employment law, I have provided counsel to senior military and civilian personnel across the Navy. I’ve advised clients on a broad spectrum of employment law matters, including reasonable accommodations, discipline, internal investigations, and labor issues involving bargaining unit employees.
My experience extends outside of counseling to the rigorous world of employment litigation, where I’ve represented clients in front of the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and through various forms of alternate dispute resolution (ADR).
